Why can’t I check out?

Sometimes if your computer is part of a network or has a particularly officious firewall it can block our payment gateway. If this happens please email us and will assist you with placing your order.
When can I contact customer services?

If you need to contact us, it is best to send an email to sales@risuswholesale.co.uk, or message us through our Facebook page. As a family run business, we do not keep usual office hours and will often reply to emails on the weekend or in the evening, so we should be there whenever you may need us.
Do I need to register with you to see your prices?

You don’t have to register – all the information is available to see without logging in. You can check out as a guest, however, if you do create an account you will be able to log in in the future to check past orders.
Do you have any promotions or discount codes?

We pride ourselves on keeping our prices as low as possible. We do not like to over inflate prices and then offer discounts! However, we may occasionally have offers running – subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know.
How do I find out about new products or offers?

Can I use your images from your website?

Every year we are inundated with requests for donations for charities. We would love to be able to help everyone, but we sadly can’t. As a business, we do donate regularly to charities that are close to our heart though.
Can you email me a CSV list of your range with all the prices and barcodes?

Unfortunately, this is not possible.
Products & Stock Levels
You don't have enough stock available. Can you get more?

In most cases, yes. If we do not have enough stock of an item available, please email us and we will endeavour to source more for you.
Can I buy just one piece of an item?

In most cases, no. Our products are all sold in wholesale quantities and we cannot sell just 1 of an item. Some larger products are available by the piece.

Are your items CE marked?
+
We always ensure that every item we sell has all the appropriate CE marks and has undergone all necessary testing. We only buy from reputable importers and anything we import ourselves will be fully tested and labelled.
Buying From Risus Wholesale
Do I have to be a business to buy from you?

No. We will happily sell to anyone, whether you are business, a PTA or a charity. We will even let you buy from us if you are just ordering some things for a birthday party or some crackers for Christmas.
How do I place an order?

On our website. If you are having any problems or need information on any goods out of stock, email us on sales@risuswholesale.co.uk.
What is your minimum order?
+
We have no minimum order but to qualify for free delivery to a UK mainland address your order must be over £100 excluding Vat.
Do I get a discount for buying in bulk?
+
The majority of our products have a higher price for purchasing 1 lot of an item and then a lower price for 2 or more. This discount is only available on the same product, it is not available if you buy 2 different colours of the same item for example. Further discounts from our list price are not possible.
Can I add to an order I have already placed?

As long as we haven’t already dispatched your order, then yes. Email us straight away on sales@risuswholesale.co.uk so we can hold your order back. You can then place your second order on the website and either remove the delivery cost in making a bank transfer or we will refund it if paying via card.
Can I have a sample?

Email us on sales@risuswholesale.co.uk and ask. Sometimes we may be able to supply a sample. If we can’t we can always try to get you some extra photos or information if needed.
What are your Terms and Conditions?

Returns
How do I return an item?

Please email us first at sales@risuswholesale.co.uk to arrange this. We do not offer sale or return. Incorrectly ordered goods or damaged items need to be returned within 7 days of receipt. We can only refund for full, unopened packs that are in their original condition. We will send you a returns form to complete and include with the goods. Please DO NOT send returns to the address on your invoice – that is our office address. Our warehouse address is: Unit 1 Knostrop Depot, Old Mill Lane, Leeds LS10 1RG.
How do I claim for damaged, faulty or an incorrect item?

Contact us first at sales@risuswholesale.co.uk to let us know what is wrong. We may ask for photos or arrange for you to return the item. Once we have received your return, we shall refund you for the item as well as reimburse you for any postage costs incurred.

Can I have a Declaration of Conformity/Authorisation letter for products?

We do not hold test reports for the items we stock as these are held by the importer. If needed it may be possible to get a copy of a report but it is not normally necessary as the CE mark is proof of conformity.
Can I browse your stock in person?

Unfortunately, we cannot allow our customers to come and browse our warehouse.
Do you offer a drop shipping service?
+
If you wish to sell our products but not hold physical stock then we can assist by sending your order directly to your customer without any paperwork. Please note however that we can only supply in the quantities listed on the website. We do not drop ship single items.
Can you supply me with a full list of products with their prices?

All our products and their prices are available on our website. We cannot supply this in spreadsheet format.
Payment
How do I pay?

We accept payment via debit or credit card, bank transfer and cheque.

If you are paying by bank transfer please put your invoice number as the reference. We will send you order as soon as payment is received. 

If you are sending a cheque, please make it payable to Risus Limited and send to our office address – Kent House, Kent Street, Sedlescombe, East Sussex, TN33 0SG. Please make a note of your invoice number on the reverse of your cheque. We will send your order as soon as payment has cleared.
Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes. Select this option at checkout and the bank details will be on your invoice. Please put your invoice number as the reference. We will send your order as soon as payment is received.
Can I have a credit account?

I am afraid we do not offer credit to anyone.
Do your prices include VAT?
+
All our prices are displayed both excluding and including VAT and should be obvious which is which on the product page.
Delivery
EU CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE - Due to new rules following Brexit, EU customers will possibly be responsible for paying import duty when your goods arrive. Please check the regulations in your country before placing an order. We will also require an EORI number from you.

Please allow extra time for your order to be processed due to the extra paperwork involved. Prices below are a guideline and we reserve to right to amend them depending on the size and weight of your order. Thank you.
What courier do you use?

We ship all goods via DPD on a next day delivery service for UK mainland addresses. For some Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland postcodes it will be a 2 day service.
Can I track my delivery?
+
es, DPD have a very good app for tracking your order – you can use their app to track your delivery. You will also receive a one hour delivery time slot so you do not have to wait in all day.
How much is delivery and how long will it take?
+
For orders under £100 (excluding VAT), our delivery charge is £4.99 (plus VAT). We send goods out on a 24hour, next day delivery service with DPD. Orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours of being received. There may be a slight delay during our busier times. If you order is time sensitive, get in touch on sales@risuswholesale.co.uk. Deliveries outside of mainland UK may take longer.
Do I need to be in to sign for my delivery?

When you receive the delivery notification from DPD you will be given the option to leave the order in a safe place or deliver to a neighbour.
Can you send my order through Royal Mail?

Unfortunately, we cannot dispatch goods via any means other than DPD as we do not have the man power to take parcels to the Post Office.
Can I collect my order?

If you are local to our warehouse, we are happy for you to collect. Email us for on sales@risuswholesale.co.uk so we can arrange a date and time to ensure your order is packed and ready. Our warehouse address is Unit 1 Knostrop Depot, Old Mill Ln, Leeds LS10 1RG
Do you ship to Amazon Fulfilment Centres?

No, I am afraid we are unable to ship directly to Amazon.
I am outside of the UK – can you deliver to me?

Yes. We supply numerous customers in Europe. See our updated price list for delivery here. Please note that delivery charges will increase for larger orders.
Can I have my order delivered to a different address than my billing address?

Yes, we are happy to deliver to your business address for example, or school. Make sure all details are entered correctly for both addresses when placing your order.
Schools & PTA's
I am wanting to place an order on behalf of a school or PTA – what should I know!

We supply a lot of PTA’s! When placing your order, select to pay by Invoice or Cheque. You will then be emailed a copy of your invoice to use to raise a cheque. If you pay via a school or PTA cheque, we will dispatch goods as soon as the cheque has arrived, rather than waiting for the cheque to clear. Please make cheques payable to Risus Limited and send to the address on your invoice – Kent House, Kent Street, Sedlescombe, East Sussex, TN33 0SG. Please also make a note of your order number on the reverse of the cheque.
Wrapped Grotto Toys
We have a range of toys that can be supplied wrapped for grottos. We may not necessarily have everything ready wrapped, so please do keep this in mind when placing your order, as we will need time to prepare them. 
You will receive your order wrapped and there will be a discreet label on each toy to say what category it is for, I.e. ‘Girls 3-6’.

We supply Grotto Toys to a wide variety of customers. If you are a Garden Centre, School, National Trust property, Castle, Zoo, Aquarium, Department Store or Toy Shop please have a look at our full range of wrapped grotto toys.
How Much Are Our Toys

We have a large range of over 100 pre wrapped and unwrapped toys to choose from. We offer toys from as little as 80p all the way up to £4+ so no matter what your budget you should find suitable items.

We try to offer as varied a range as possible. You will find baby toys, puzzles, wooden toys, craft sets, vehicles, games, plush toys, craft toys and more.
Wrapping & Labelling

All our wrapped toys use good quality paper and carry a label detailing the item number, age group and gender. We split the toys in to the following age groups:

Stock and Ordering

Most of our stock is available for delivery in October. Feel free to contact us at sales@risuswholesale.co.uk though to discuss you requirements. 

We advise you place your orders as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you do not require your order until later in the year we also advise you place your order now but do not choose a payment option on the website that requires immediate payment. Instead choose pay by invoice and we can arrange payment nearer to your delivery date.
